Second Day in San Francisco – Jan. 22nd. – Walk for Life.
Second day in San Francisco… Mass in the Cathedral at 8 AM. I don’t have pictures of it because.. ummm.. yeah moving on. Then we ate at ihop for breakfast. Well, more like lunch. After ihop, we walked to Pier 39 hoping to catch one of the trolleys to Pier 1 where the rally was happening. However, they shut the trolleys down for a couple of hours due to the walk for life… so we ended up walking from Pier 39 to Pier 1… which wasn’t too bad. Then the walk happened. After the walk for life we went to the youth rally the Knights of Columbus organized. We met Fr. Pavone, Doug Barry from EWTN, and Fr. Mark Mary, also from EWTN. Fr. Mary interviewed us for his show, Life on the Rock. Then we walked back home, changed clothes.. some took a shower like me, and looked for a place to eat. I got tired of lugging my camera around so I left it in the room. We found a pizza place for dinner. The guys got pizza while I had buffalo wings… and it was delicious. We stopped by at a bar for drinks although I didn’t buy any. I’m not much of a beer guy. After the bar, we just went back to our hotel. We talked for a bit, watched some of the videos, and then slept.
